What rear spoiler is this?

Paul, I wouldn't mind having that wing molded to the trunk. I think it would look sick.
now THAT would be sweet. i saw overhaulin when they did the civic--the moulded the decklid out like a ducktail spoiler and it looked awesome. the super stallion has, what seems an s281 wing, molded into the decklid and it looks nice, too.

I have the super stallion model car. This spoiler comes out a LONG WAY. I would almost bet my wallet its based off the Boss spoilers.....

i think the saleen s281 wing is the same thing. 2 bolts and double sided tape.

i like the xenon spoiler alot more then the s281. the saleen spoiler is nice but its very common now. and is too low. i wanted it to come up a little higher at the end and the xenon offers what i'm looking for.

Another "S281 to Xenon" convert here.

The only thing I don't like about it (look at 1st thread pic) is that small lip on the bottom. It creates a large seam ..... I think it would look better without that lip all together. The molding idea sounds very possible for me. I fell in love with the SuperStallion deck lid ...... but the spoiler they used stuck a little too far out for my taste. And the price that Aaron quoted is what I found it for as well.

Its gonna be tough to mold it in and have it look right because the edge over the fender will not be molded in. So if you mold that in then you have to cut the spoiler which makes another seam.

And i was sitting here examining the Super Stallion model i have and they actually cut the fender and molded it to the spoiler so it all lifts up as one piece.

Sounds tough .... but that's a good idea, too. I don't think I'd like it if the edges of the spoiler smacked into the fender everytime I shut the deck lid anyway.

Nate, hurry up & do it & get pics!!!

But the problem is this....on the SS, the spoiler doesnt go that far onto the fender like the red line shows below.

Unless someone has some good ideas, this molding thing seems to be pretty tough.

And a quick cheap photoshop

Depending on how clean of a cut you or a body shop could make, i think making a small seam like shown above is the best option. That way you can mold the whole spoiler in.
