Doing anything to that car besides a V-8 swap is wasteful.

get this into you head guys........

one day a V8 will go into in it after i show my dad i wont do anything stupid with what i got. and if that takes to long them ill blow the lil 3.8 up and say it overhated. when that days comes i want to have everything else i want done already. To where then my main focus can be the drivetrain. A 5.0 a t-5 and a 8.8 rear end.

for now since it cant go fast. it mise well look good.

i have the same car and the stuff is different.

when my 3.8 gets pulled and 5.0 gose in...in no way is it coming in contact with the front shocks. The only difference is when its all said and done the front end will sit a little lower and have alot more power.

the drive train will happen one by one. a 5.0 first, read end, then a transmission.

i do not get what your saying with this.

no way you have the same car, Mine is a one of a kind :p

The rates for the shocks are different because of the different weights of the engine.

We have cut springs on two cars lately...owners were attempting to SEE how it would work before poping for the cash. The results were excellent..two coils front and one and a half back and the car sits (both cars actually) sit NICE and angry.

Yeah, my eibach springs that I ain't putting on yet, so i'm playing with them :p are so stiff, they won't budge, even when I am oractically breaking my arms lol, so I say lowering springs, but if you get them now, you'll have to get v8 ones later, or it will sit high.

I would think if you are trying to make your car handle any better, probably needs it being a v6 vert, Cutting springs would barely make a difference, and probably handle a lil worse.

but if you just want it for looks and don't want to take turns fast, go for the HU and cut the springs. Personally, I think it would be fun as hell taking turns alot faster than I can now with some decent susp. stuff.

"C" Springs are specific rate...
"B" Springs are progressive rate...

B springs will be a much nicer ride....

FordRacingParts.com says you should get "F" Springs because it's a convertible.... But personally, I've never heard of them...

just a few thoughts...
