Hello everyone:

I am currently new to this site. I have a 95 5.0L which I have had stored away for 5 years. Before I stored the car away I added some modification to it which include:

GT40 Crate Engine
Built AODE transmission w/ 2800 stall converter
30lb fuel enjectors
Modified mass air flow sensor
Trick flow upper and lower intake
Cold air intake
Bassani X pipe
Flowmaster 2 stage cat back.

Now obviously , there are some bits and pieces that still should be added. All I want to do is get the car to run smothly on the road (for now).

I am having a few problems,

1.) the brake petal is hard as a rock when the RPM's are low. My brake booster is running fine, so I don't know what the problem is. This occured right after the Crate Engine was installed.

2.) When I let off the accelerator going about 30mph the car tends to jump (it feels like somone who doesn't know how to drive 5 spped is driving it)

Those are really the only two problems. I come to you for suggestions.

I know I need a bigger throttle body, and probably an adjustable fuel regulator. Any suggestions on anything else that is a MUST. Again all I want is for the brakes to work and for the car to run smoothly on the road. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for your time.

5 years is a long time for a car to sit and not be drive at all. I would put some miles on it first, get the rotors turned for sure. They always warp where the pad sits, even it it doesn't look bad, it it. I see that all the time, they rust or pit only where the pad is at.

have you had it tuned since you put in the crate motor? i would check for vacuum leaks, change the oils if you haven't already. check the plugs, wires, etc. basically just a full tuneup.
