What should I expect to pay?

I'm getting ready to purchase a new interior kit and was wondering what a fair price would be for labor to re-upholster seats and quarter trim on my 67 Vert. $425.00 for labor alone seems a bit steep  (local shop price quote)

Don't know if this will help, but many years ago I found a guy and his son who did upholstery work out of his home. He restuffed and recovered my pickup bench seat for half of what the local shops would charge. It came out really nice. They took the seat out, recovered it and placed it back in the truck.

Just a word of advise, most interior shops do Boats and Classics, both are SPRING and SUMMER JOBS. in the dead of winter they are Desperate for work :D

why not go to a few shops in your area and get different quotes and ask to see some of their work?

If they are JUST doing seats and 1/4 trim...does that mean you deliver them to them or do they remove them and take them out? (except the 1/4 trim)

I recovered the seats and repainted all the trim pieces in my 73 mustang. It was a pretty easy job to do and it turned out looking great. I would say that overall it cost me around 250 for repo seat covers, foam, interior paint, and a used interior quarter panel.
