I have a 2004 Mustang GT 5 speed w/ 3.73's, Mac CAI, Steeda UDPs and either a 150 shot or 125 depending on how I feel that day. Anyways. I just got a Raptor shift light, what should I set it at to help the most at the track? Thanks
that raptor is NICE! i regret not going with that. I didnt find out about it until i bought an autometer tach adapter, rpm switch, and mini shift light and the "pills" to make it work. i cant fine tune my shift light like yours but the pills i got are 5.0 - 5.8 rpms so i have her set to go off at usually 5600 or if at the track and need a bit more ill top her off at 5800rpm. with my mods i dont really get to much more gain past that.

The only way to know for sure is to take to the track and experiment with various shift points. I get my best times shifting at 6000rpms, but I have P&P heads.
I have heard (all conjecture to me since I have an auto) that it is best to shift at or near the hp curve. Or in other words shift at the range where it would give you the most power under the torque/power curve (Calculus at work ).
