My stock GT hit 14.5 with bad 60' times.

Im guessing low 13's atleast.

That's the fastest stock GT time I've ever heard.

I'm just warning you, if this is your first time to the track, you're going to suck. Everyone sucks at first. If this is your first time, I'm gonna say 14s.

I love the phrase "if you know how to drive." You could be the smoothest stick driver ever, but if you don't have seat time you're not gonna pull good ETs. Driving the snot out of your car at the track is not the same as doing a couple quick shifts when getting onto an on ramp.

When you come back, post your slip up if you want and some peeps will go over it with you. I don't post time's here because then I get 30 guys who keyboard race telling me what I should have run and that I "don't know how to drive." Or that their cousin's best friend's sister's boyfriend has the same car as me but he can get consistently better times by half a second.

Grain of salt is all I'm saying.

Good luck, be safe, and get ready for an awesome time!

Boy did you hit the nail on the head with that statement! A lot of people "think" they are good driver, but are quickly humbled at the track.

To the thread starter, your car should be capable of mid 13's, but as was said if this is your first time you are more than likely going to be in the low 14's. Orlando is less than 100' above sea level, so track conditions there are very favorable (excluding freakish weather) for making power and therefore better track times than most places with higher elevation. Just take your time and try not to over drive the car and you'll come back with some good times. Have fun, its very addicting!

I'd say a mid 13 would probably be a good estimate if you get a good launch. The best I was able to wring out of my stock 95 GT was a 14.799 @ 92.34 MPH with a 2.164 60' time on street (non-DR) tires. If you're not on sticky tires, be prepared to slip the living hell out of your clutch off the line to get a good launch.

I say 13.8 @ 101mph
Did I win?

You'll need at minimum DR's to get a sub 2.0 launch. If its tuned good you should be able to get 13.5's consistently with ~ 1.7 60'

I had most that same stuff on a 95 Cobra, just gears, exhaust, Chip and DR's

The best I saw was a 13.09 @ 103

Sold the car before I saw the 12's

very similar mods and et in the sig at OSW as well. the track doesnt suck its the drivers. although as the NIGHT goes by moisture and ricers take their toll, no track is going to stick under those conditions. my ets were on cheap ass street tires as well

i wanted 12's on street tires and bolt ons pretty badly, i just didnt really have alot of spare time to make it happen. i had quite a few 13.0 and 13.1 passes on street tires.

edit: below is the list of mods i had. i had to revamp them from the original post i had since i determined exactly the parts i had when i pulled my motor a few months ago.

-MAC Chrome Shorty Headers-
-Mac O/R H-pipe-
-Dumped Magnaflows-
-BBK CAI-
-65mm TB-

Drivetrain/Chassis
-Welded in Subframes-
-SVO Diff Cover-
-Aluminum Driveshaft-
-Pro 5.0 Shifter-
-3.73s-

Suspension
-Eibach Lowering Springs-
-Koni's-
-BBK Caster Camber plates-
