I am thinking about getting some prostars to slap on the rear of the cobra at the track. Either 15X8's or 15X10's and I don't know what size Mickey Thompsons will fit under our car without shaving anything.
What sizes will fit?

I have 26x10x15 ET Drags on 15x7 wheels and it doesn't come close to rubbing. You won't have a problem with an 8" tire assuming you select the wheel with the proper backspacing.

I, personally, would choose the biggest (i.e. widest) tire....

I run a set of ET streets, 26X10.50-15LT on a 8" wide rim with no problems at all.

MT Thompson recommends a 10in wheel for the 26-10-15 ET Drags. The smaller the wheel, the more you'll be "fighting" to keep the car on the track, if I may say. You'll know what I mean.

I havent tried mine yet but I got my 15x10 Prostars with my 26-10-15 ET Drags ready to go

go with a 15x10 w/ 6 1/2 inch bs prostar wraped w/ MT 315/60-15 drag radial and you will be happy, you may have to roll the lip to avoid gouging but thats nothin. Wish i had gone with that instead of 15x8 w/ 275/60-15 just doesn't fill the wheelwell enough plus i'm bouncin off the rev limiter goin through the traps but thats @ 124 and with 3.73's....
