Okay gang, lend your expertise and experience to a newbie Stanger. What is the widest size 18" tire I can put on the rear of my '04 GT without rubbing inside or jutting way out past the fender line? I've been told to go with about a 325. Any thoughts or pics you can share of your own set ups would be helpful. I want folks to see the my car from the back and say "Daaaamn".

Thanks.

I think a 315 would fit for sure, just the cost is outrageous. I have 295s out back they look good and were expensive as he11. I'm not sure about a 325 though. It might. Sorry I don't have any pics for ya. Welcome to the stang community, btw!

I already say Daaamn when I look at your car from behind EXCEPT I usually phrase it like "DAAAMN is that a 4WD mustang all jacked up like that?" Oh yeah also, unless you do some performance mods, no one will be seeing your car from the back DAWG. Here is a pic for ya

Keep on talking that smack, Cheesey. The only performance mod I need to take you and that concrete '99 out are a good set of drag radials.

One pass and you'll be

The 99 has been touched by God dont you know. Besides its not how fast the car is, it is all in the driver. I got ya for a while Flintstone. You remember what happened with your little Catfish dont you, it will be worse with your 4WD. Oh yeah:
Drag radials + 410s > Drag radials +327s

Dont forget that. Now STFU and PIITB and do some RFQs or something, be a boss.
