I searched & can't find a good answer.

I'm removing the skinnies in favor of some 15x7" wheels. What size tire should I run up front? I'd like to get something that does not hang over the rim much if at all.

depends how tall you want them, I personally like a 205 60 15 but I have them on a 6 inch wheel.

Right, I'd like to see pics of 15x7s with these different sizes on them. I don't want a huge tire as I'm not trying to add more weight nor do I want a bunch of tire hanging over the rim.

What's the verdict on a 225/50 or a 225/55 tire?

15x8s with 26" tall slicks will be in back.

I always liked 265/50s for the back but they're gonna bulge out the sides just a bit but not enough to hurt the foot print.

If i remember right they were 215/60s in the front.
