I need to know what the safest tire size to put on a 9" wide rim upfront and the widest/ safest you can put on a 9.5" rim out back?

I was thinkin maybe 275 for front and 305 for out back.

What do you guys think?????????????????????????????????????????????

I don't know if I'd go that wide of a tire out back on a 9.5" wheel. It could be done, but the sidewall may buldge a bit. In the front, I'd probably go 255 or 265 max, so you're not risking any rubbing. Too wide, and you may be forced to run some rack limiters.

i run 275's on my 9" rims(front with no rubbing problems) and with a 9.5" i would run probably a 285/295 for the rear. You could even run 275's on the rear if you want to be able to rotate your tires...

i think your sizes are to large for both a 255 front is suffient and the rear go around a 275 maybe a 285 its only a .5" larger

That would probably be pretty good. I hear you start to have rubbing issues when steering if you go beyond 265 up front.

I run 295 out back on a 10", a 9.5" should take it no problem but I would personally avoid 305... but some may disagree.

I say run with 265/295.
