what springs, 4 cyl or v-8? (did a search)

my 92 notch was a 4 cyl car and i have the original springs from it. i also have a set of springs from my 86 5.0 capri parts car. i will be using the gt front swaybar. which springs would you use? the car is just a toy driven a few times a week. i will be running 17x8 wheels w/ 245-45-17's all around. it will see the track a few times a year. it's a full weight car, without air for now.

I like the 4 banger springs on mine, lots of weight transfer. Of course I did run for a while without any swaybars hehe

If its a driver mostly v8 springs. If u are into racing it 4 banger springs. IMO.

For Drag racing you would want the opposite. But the car will sit slightly higher in the front. Looks like crap but launches great.

from what I read, he got it right, the 4 banger springs up front, v8 springs in the rear. This is what I'm gonna do. DO it only, though, if you're hardcore about drag racing.


I HAVE to ask, why an 86 capri for a parts car, those are harder than **** to find, and worth good cash when clean, wrecked I hope?
