what springs are you guys running? Specific VS. Progressive?

1.5 - 2 inch drop is a lot. I guess it all depends on what you want to do; look cool, drag race or hang curves. I have always read that more than 1 inch really goofs up your steering gometry.
On my '91 LX I am using HR progressive rate (Sport models I think) They drop the car almost exactly 1 inch and to me it looks just right. Look at the Maximum Motorsports site and they have a good chart for these springs. They are good on the street and ok for auto-X.
I used to run the FMS C-springs and they were good for auto-X but to stiff for me on the street. The C ( for Comp.) are 650lb constant on the front and progressive in the back, about a 1 inch front drop, bit less rear. Cool hot rod stance on these! Some guys run 800lb or more in the front for auto-X!
I would recomend the HR sport springs and adjustable rear lower control arms so that you can get the hight just right. They have jack screws to raise or lower the back end. Wish I had them. Steeda and others make them(Max. Motorsports too).

I have FMS "B" progressive springs and I love em. Perfect drop and good ride plus they carve the curves with no problem. For $140 you can't beat them

i got the eibach pro kit with specific rate springs. lowered about 1.5 inches. mine actually rides better than my buddies. he got the progressives. his went down about 2 inches though. i guess that could make the difference in the ride quality.

I have Sport lines... Umm.. they are alright.. not the best if your a 1/4 mile guy.. I love the stance though...

I have the "C" springs on the '86; 650 lbs specific rate. The struts I'm using, Monroe Formula GPs (old Saleen style), are overpowerd by these springs. Hence, the ride is pretty harsh in town. Ride is 24-3/4" front; 26" in back (ground to center of lip). I have the H&R Super Sports (progressive) on the '01 vert, with Bilsteins. Ride is 25-7/8" Front; 27" Back (ground to center of lip). However, the stuff under the car is a lot closer to the grond than the Fox - hit the k-member several times on high spots in the road. Ride in town is much nicer but that is probably because of the IRS. In my experiance, getting the right strut/shock combo with the selected springs is key to ride quality, unless you're running some pretty heave stuff.

I have eibach progressives, lowered a little over 1 inch, looks and handles good, traction off the line suffered a little though.

I have H&R Springs. Race Springs up front 750-850 lb/in and Torque Arm Springs in the rear 390-430 lb/in
