I'd donkey punch my sister.
theyre nice, hard as hell to mod. adding boost isnt as easy as most cars, the ecu gets pissed if you try to go around it to control the boost, things like that have to be disabled in the tune, etc. buddy has a 06 wrx with a 20g turbo and all the support and that thing flies, put down 280 to the wheels on a mustang dyno (didnt know of any awd mustang, but apparently they make awd mustang dyno's) so its a little lower than it really puts down but its loaded more for tuning purposes.
id rather have a evo. just as good in the curves, and even better on the straight. easier to mod, cheaper, and the 4g63 is by far one of the greatest 4cyl motors created, can handle upwards of 30psi and untouched has handled 500whp, and ive seen more with simple things like arp studs/metal head gasket. IMO as far as styling goes, its a little boyish, but im liking the new Evo's more and more, if the new motor proves just as worthy as the 4g63, it might be put higher on the "cars i want to buy if i can buy brand new" list than the probably-overpriced Camaro and Challengers will.
