What Tire Size on 18x9 Rims???

what tire size should I go with on these rims that will look good and also be correct with the speedo?? would 245/40/18 be alright? thanks

What you picked is very close to a 245/45-17 in height so if that is the tire you had before the 18's then your speedo will be very close to correct. The 9" wide wheel would work better with a 255/35-18 though as the 245/40-18 will work but a 8.5" rim width is ideal for that size tire. The 255/35-18 is about a half an inch shorter (1/4" on the radius) than the 245/40-18 so that would throw off the speedo some what.

Well what rim are you going with? The offsets is what you should be limited to, you don't want a tire sticking out of the fenderwell do you?

i want saleen rims with nitto 555's or bfg kdw2's. I want to run 18x9 with 275's in the front and 18x10 with 295's out the back. Would these combinations work??

Yes, definitely, and would look hella sweet too. both the nitto and the bfg are good tires, especially the kdw2's with that hella sweet tread pattern!

do the 295's out the back look pretty good, b/c i have seen a couple stangs with 315's and . Who all has 315's on here and what size tires are you running in the front. post some pics

245/40/R18 would only be 0.1mph off so it's a good size if you're considering having your speedometer near-accurate.
