not necessarily more HP -- but more fun: Get some 3:73 gears

and here's your 2nd post! Automatic...get 3.73s, T5....get 3.55s, those are gonna be your best bang for the buck performance, then get some underdrive pullies, if you're installing your own ring/pinion to save cash, get some gt40 heads or have your e7s ported real good?? Or try to find a killer deal on some used aluminum heads for the whole 700

I wish i would have addressed this question back when my car was at your mod level....

Where do you want the car to be? Point is, say you want a turbo. Then there's no point in getting gears now...when u might have to change them again later.

Decide where you want to go with the car. Then make decisions so you dont double back on yourself. GT40P heads are a nice cheap improvement if you can install them yourself. Gears are always a plus(although i have a t5 and went 3.73...wonder if i should did 3.90s or even 4.10s)

Or save it and look for a cheap blower on the classifieds. Lots of things add power(nitrous) but it doesnt really matter if it doesnt match your goals.

Set your goals straight, then come back and ask something like " i want my car to be ________ in 2-3 years. What should i do now to help get there".

Otherwise you're gonna get a lot of different answers cause there are a lot of "options" for more power.

nate is 100% correct. if your just looking for stepping stone then gears, but your better off getting your goals aligned.

nitrous kit, buy one used, have some of that 700 left over

another thought is tools...if you don't have any/enough and want to do all this stuff yourself...won't get you any more power, but will give you the ability to bolt on some power....

good luck

The best all around mod you could make would be gears. But for all out hp it's hard to beat nitrous. Used or new $700 will get you a good kit.
