Anyone? I'm getting one that's stuck in reverse. Going to do my own repair.. I've heard the tools would cost so much it's not worth it. How deep would I need to go into the tranny?

Here's what i need to rebuild a T-5

GOOD External Snap ring pliers
Small punch for driving roll pins
socket set for misc bolts on outside of trans
3-jaw puller
WD-40
Rubber Mallet

That's about it really that i needed

Nope, i did not. I was told i would need one but i was able to use the 3-jaw to take off parts and used a metal pipe to drive on the hub and 5th gear and bearings.

I had to stop to order parts, but it took me about 1 weekend to do this. 2-3 hours to completely disassemble , 1 hour to inspect and clean parts, ordered parts and then 2-3 hours to reassemble.

Not bad and you saved a bundle!
