what tools to buy

ok so i got a 50$ gife card to sears as one of my x-mas gifts.

i've got all the sockets, socket ass. screwdrivers, pilers, t-handles, hex, adjustable wrenchs, open and box wrenchs
i need.

i kinda need some vice grips, a good breaker bar (so i don't have to use my floor jack handle anymore)
and i'm thinking about a angle grinder also as i'm doing a little gringing on the mustang project.
the problem is i'm not sure i'll use it much after that.

also i'm not haveing much luck finding a breaker bar so i might just use the floor jack handle longer.

what about prybars, how offten do you guys use yours?
the next step on the stang is susp. work like a tub. k-member swap and a mild drag/ street susp.. what tool will i need the most?
as i plain on doing 99% of the work myself.

I work at a salvage yards and build cars (mostly stangs) all the time.

For K-member swaps, I have a hoist.....BUT......I still used a jack, jack stands, scrap 2X4 blocks of wood and pry bars. I had my motor and transmission bolted to the K-member and I dropped the car on the K-member.You just never know how things will go and I did all this myself, so this was the only way I could do it.

FYI: If you buy vice grips...VICE GRIP is the best brand.
Cheap brand pry bars are fine (No need to go big on Snap-On)
Off brand grinders work great as well. My 25 dollar "no-name" grinder outlasted all my co-workers MAC and Snap-on and Husky's at 40-75 dollars a peice.

Like SVT said if you get a set of vice grips get Vice Grips, they are the best and you said you need them. I have a question though, I have alot of tools but never had a socket ass. Is that the thing that attaches to the bottom of the socket when you throw them in the tool box?:rlaugh:.....................ok it wasnt that funny:(

I use my angle grinder alot! I use it for cutting things that it wasnt meant for , but if your in a bind,,, you do what you gottado.
