1985 Pontiac Fiero GT w/ 25k miles for $1200.

I bought it from my uncle. He quit driving it in 1989 because he thought it would be a collector and worth a bunch of money one day after they were discontinued... :rlaugh::nonono:

It's a fun little car to drive. I still have it since the sentimental value far exceeds the dollar value. It's sitting in my parents back garage collecting dust. I only drive it when I go home on leave. Unfortunately, next time I head home, I'm going to have to change a half shaft over a bad CV joint. Oh well, not bad considering it probably has about 80k miles on it now. My mom took it upon herself to drive it into the ground after I left.... Fortunately, someone gave my dad bad advice and diagnosed the issue as a shuddering torque converter without driving it, riding in it, or anything else.:bs: So she is no longer racking up the miles. LOL... I drove it and verified its the CV. $75ish dollar part and it should take too much effort to fix.:nice:

I have a friend who is a Fiero fanatic. I'm not that big into them but they're neat little cars. I saw one in a salvage yard a while back. The outside looked brand new aside from the missing wheels. The interior was trashed though.

i'm a old timer here so it was a 1950 ford 2 door Vicky with a merc flathead 8, from there to a 64 gal 500 extra light 427 to a 65 gt 350. to a 68 302. to a 70 boss 429 that I still have to a 75 stang 2, 79 turbo fast back . 85 gt. to a 07 and now a 12. lots of other along with the stangs
Awesome! My uncle just recently bought a 1949 Ford custom. Flat black with a small block Ford. Bench seat from a mid 90's vehicle. Automatic, smooth hubcaps. It looks awesome.

My first was a 2000 Buick Regal LS. It had 64k miles on it and I paid $3000. Was a great car with a 3.8L V6 in it, but it eventually started having a ton of problems electrically and fixing it was starting to become a monthly thing so I eventually traded it haha

1975 Volvo 242. It was my grandparents, then my sisters, then mine. Bought it for $300. It didn't run, but I got it running. Then promptly rolled it twice. Drove it home after that though. Landed on it's wheels. Those cars are tough.

Hey Guys and Gals, I was just curious to see some of the car you guys had when you first started driving. I'm 16 and my First Car (Luckly) is a 91' LX 5.0 Convertable Fox :nice:I'm really curious what is gonna show up in this thread. Oh and with your post say hoe much you paid for it! Thanks
Well aren't you the lucky one! My 1st car was a puke green 1970 Chevrolet Nova 250. My dad found it from an old lady neighbor. He paid $1000 and I paid $1000. I was 19 I believe. It was a junker! The engine would always pop up when you hit the accelerator.. buddy of mine hooked a big chain below from one side to the other to somewhat fix that issue. Also wouldn't turn off right away and keep running high and low after you took the key out.. craziest thing. If you splashed in a big puddle getting water on the distributor cap, the car would try shutting off.. would have to rev at stops. Smelled bad too. Yeah, nice 1st ride. LOL
