during the breakdown of my car this winter, a few things were sacrificed for a few reasons, weight reduction, traction, ease of removal, etc... sway bars, windshield washer reservior, airbags, etc. i have a question about the cruise control crap on the drivers side under the fenders. i ripped the junk out and cut all the wires. now im trying to figure out if i can just cap them and leave them or if i need to splice anything together...

here they are

you don't have to splice them, under the dash on the upper left hand side you will see a black box that has 2 plugs going into it one is that set of wires you cut, you can disconnect the box and remove it and then pull the wires out, also there is a vacuum hose on the brake pedal that can be disconnected that is also part of the cruise control. I would think from the sounds of it you all ready removed the cable from linkage and the vacuum tank, etc from the car already..other than that you should be all set. I removed my dead cruise along time ago no issues.
