my car idles fine until after 30 mins of driving. after that in drive the idle shows 900 instead of 6-700 and in park jumps up to 1300 and settles to 1000. while i am driving the gas pedal feels different every time i press it. what would cause this????? i have replaced egr, iac, tp, ect, spark plugs, rotor, dist cap, wires, intake manifold gasket, tranny filter service, throttle body is clean and have reset base idle vacuum is at 17 at idle and fuel pressure is 35. this is an 88 mustang gt aod and speed density. any help would be appreciated running out of ideas for things to fix

Could be something mechanical and not electrical. Check the throttle body
blade, return spring, throttle cable. Mabey they work fine when it's cold
but don't when they warm up. Could also be something else stupid that
you overlooked , like the vacum Modulator on the tranny. I had an AOD
once that did all kinds of wierd stuff after it warmed up. And it ended
up to be the vacum modulator.
Hope you figure it out!

Oh, O2 sensors and BAP sensor could be checked out though !

You guys with idle problems could same a lot of time chasing your tails if you would go through the Surging Idle Checklist. Over 50 different people contributed information to it. The first post has all the fixes, and steps through the how to find and fix you idle problems without spending a lot of time and money. I continue to update it as more people post fixes or ask questions. You can post questions to that sticky and have your name and idle problem recognized. The guys with original problems and fixes get their posts added to the main fix.

well found out that there is no vavuum modulator on my car solves that issue.now leaning towards tv rod because when d-accelerating it gives a quick rev on the downshift almost like the aod clutch is catching
