So my g/f got a 94 gt. We put a cat back on and thats about it. Best bang for buck on this car would be? I was thinking eathier throttle body or pulleys. We have a limited budget so just looking for the right next step. Also what do you guys usially run you timing at 14?

Also what mm tb would you start with I was thinking 70? And finially what do would you suggest for fuel pressure? I'm not sure if I should set timing and fuel pressure same as my 91 or not assuming things are alot different on the 94? THanks

I would do gears if you want to quicken it up. That will beat most other stuff, dollar for dollar.

Good luck and enjoy the new ride.

best bang for the buck i would say is start gutting the thing... :D

back seat, passenger seat, bumper supports, carpet, etc etc etc.

but if you wanna keep this thing comfortable, i agree on gears

get some gears , then save up for eather a supercharger or heads and cam later down the road . dont waist ur time or money on the small stuff u arnt going to notice to much of a gain on pullys and stuff like that. not really cost efective when u add all that up.

I am going to say O/R H or X-pipe first...

10-15 HP for well under $200...

Then Gears...

OR if you can install the gears yourself (still kicking myself for not doing myslef) then do gears first for about $250 (includes fluid, shims, gears, pinion bearings, etc.)

Best bang for the buck would be gears and pullies. No need for a new throttle body yet until you get a diffrent intake, that would be putting money where it is not needed. Also dont get a CAI those are the worse bang for the buck. A bigger Mass air meter would not hurt either. Dont forget to pull out the sliencer and throw in a K&N filter.

A new shifter would be nice to. Wont do anything for power but I have never heard once person say they liked the stock shifter more then an aftermarket one.
