Whats a good Cam for turbo?

Hey all !

My question is : What cam should I use with a twin turbo setup?

I currently have a ported SVO Cobra intake which I want to use.
I know i should try to get the compression to 8.5:1
So I am looking for the Cam and Head combo to go with the turbo ( later on down the road ).

If you have any recommendations. Please Post them.

With a turbo you don't need big lift and you want your LSA pretty wide so that your backpressure does not go out your intake because of overlap.

A lot of people get good results with stock cams, then they get a custom grind if they need more because off the shelf cams are not really optimal for a turbo setup.

I think I heard somewhere that a turbo will push up your power curve by about 1,000 rpm, so a stock cam that does not work very well past 5,000 rpm will work to about 6,000 in a turbocharged engine. The reasoning was that the turbo pushes air in to the cylinder while a NA engine uses a ram effect to fill the cylinders, and after you hit the rpm the intake is tuned to, it's all down hill from there.

I have seen some of the guys on the power adder forums say they use the Ford f cam.
