Whats a good rearend cover girdle to buy?

Whats a good manufacturer rearend cover girdle to buy? Is MAC good quality?

I've always heard to go with the FMS girdle.

I was told that everyones Girdle was a copy of the TA girdle. I bought there girdle and it is identical to the Ford Racing girdle and it cost less.

I bought the LPW Low Profile Girdle

I got the Summit one its the same as the trick flow and it was in stock, I did notice the lip hangs lower than than diff by about 1/2 inch but sealed up real nice so dont think this is a problem at all.

Is this the one you bought? part # DFM4033M05 for the fox body? Thats the only cover they show and its for an 05 to 07 mustang

I know the FMS is definately a copy of the T/A. In fact T/A may even produce it for Ford. Nice design though. I went with the T/A also mostly for looks. Without the stock gas tank you can really see it from behind the car.

I have the FMS one. Looks good, until you have to grind the hell out of it to fit your adjustable rear sway bar.

Seriously.

Its worth the money just to help when you drain the diff. Taking out one set screw is alot easier than taking the whole cover off. Not to mention you dont have to worry about stripped or broken bolts as much.

I bought the 1 from Summit, it is a nice piece and was not too bad in the price.
