Engine What's a good sealant for freeze plugs and oil galley plugs?

I'm doing a re-ring on my '93 5.0 motor. I need sealant to spread on the edges of freeze plugs before I knock them in and on the threads of oil galley plugs. What's a good sealant (oil and water resistant) to use? Brand and type, please.

I use aviation permatex. Cleans off with lacquer thinner.

Yes the brown goo
Aviation form a gasket (Permatex) mentioned above is what I use
Not Silicone
If I am laying there on the side of the road with a motor mount removed
I usually use nothing but a socket a wobbly and an extension and a BFH
No sealer just swear words

Is aviation Permatex good for the threads on the oil galley plugs also?

I would just use liquid teflon on any screw in plugs
