well you cant have a good launch without a good suspension :nice:

Suspension is coming. I just need to get the gears set, some motor issues straightened out and then I will go to the suspension. I don't plan on getting back to the track until next spring anyway. I JUST picked up a stock 95 Cobra so I have SOOOOOOO many things to do. At least this one is a coupe! The other two stangs I have are verts. :(

Thats my big question also. My 85gt engine is practically stock. Just simple bolt on mods done. So Im not throwing big HP. But my stock 3.08s are good for HW driving. I run about 85-90mph and only kick about 2100-2200 rpms. So I figure for the extra excitment at lower town speeds, I can keep back to 75-80 mph on the HW and run the same 2200-2400 rpms.

Question: I was talking to my dad, previous owner of the stang, and he thinks Im uts for changing gears to 3.73. He thinks my mpg will drop alot and run the engine harder all the time. I have tried to wxplain the "mechanical adv." to him but I cant get it out right. Can someone explain the ratio of R&P gears to the engine rev.? Thanks
