a while back i had a small hole in a radiator hose.....well i got radiator fluid all over my motor(previous owner used the orange fluid)....i thought since my motor is torn down i can go ahead and clean everything.....what the best cleaner to clean the radiator fluid???
For strictly antifreeze, good ol' water would do the trick. If you're looking to clean everything, I've had good luck using Simple Green in the past. It's what we used at a dealer I worked at years ago for everything from washing cars, cleaning engine compartments, and scrubbing the floor. It's good stuff, just make sure you dilute it properly.
I use S100, they sell it at Harley dealerships. I was skeptical at first whether it would work the way people claimed, but it did a great job. Took my 1-2 hour engine bay detailing down to about 20 minutes.
