Whats the best tuner to get for a Automatic

I heard the x-cal was better for auto's but i just want to make sure i am right and maybe hear form some people that are running them what they had to say..
Xcal2 lets you adjust part throttle and WOT shift points, part throttle and WOT shift pressures. Predator only does WOT shift points and WOT shift pressures.

Xcal2 lets you adjust torque converter lock/unlock schedule. Predator doesn't.

So its kind of like having a highstall?? This stuff is kind of new to me and i really want to get to know how it all works.. :SNSign:
What is like having a high stall?

Shift points
As your drive with light throttle, your car shifts at specific speeds. The more you have the pedal pressed, the higher these MPH shift points are. For example, at light pedal pressure, your car will shift into 2nd at maybe 8 mph. But at medium to heavy throttle, it will hold 1st until 25 mph before it shifts into 2nd gear. With an Xcal2, you can set these shift points higher so it holds the gears longer.

At WOT, your car will shift at specific RPMs. You can adjust those to better match your power band, as your power band shifts as you mod your car.

Shift pressures
The factory shifts are programmed to be granny-friendly. They are designed to be soft. Increasing the shift pressure makes the shift firmer, snappier, quicker. Instead of a one-second shift, it can be reduced to just a quick snap, kind of like how the 5-speed guys do when they're banging through the gears.

Torque Modulation
By design, the engine computer reduces the timing to reduce the torque during the shift. This is part of making your shifting granny-friendly. Turning this off can make your shifts harder. On good days, you'll get 2nd gear scratches.

You have a locking torque converter in your car. That means, under certain driving conditions, your transmission will lock so it is almost like a 5-speed transmission. It gets like 99.99% of the engine's power out to the drive wheels to help with fuel economy. This happens in 3rd and 4th during part throttle driving. It also locks in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th under WOT.

If you swap in a high stall converter, the Xcal2 will allow you to change set different conditions for locking unlocking the torque converter.

mph is a company that sells the sct 2. i have never dealt with mph but they got a good rep on here. a MPH tune would be a mail order tune done by mph. when you buy this tuner they will ask what mods are in your car and make a tune for you. at some point you can go to a dyno and have a new program made to fine tune it even more.
