I was looking at nitto 555r's and teh comp t/a's and damn...160...anyone know of a cheaper brand, or, if i do get those, what is a matchung frotn tire that is cheap?

To the best of my knowledge, Nittos are the cheapest out there. If you can get the BFG's for the same price, I would hop all over that deal.

I got my Nitto DR's for $160 and also got free shipping on them too. IIRC it was discounttiredirect.com who I got them from.

I got my 245/45/17 555's for $119 a piece at the same time. Its a decent price and they perform nicely.

Get the nittos for sure. Just get the cheapest front tire you can find. Be sure to get the sidewall size you want though. I have pirelli p6000's(i think) up front, they were 100 each shipped from discounttire.com.
