Modular Powerhouse, and he says they custom grind cams for use with the blowers they install. I'd probably call them and tell them what you plan to do and maybe they can make some suggestions. Never hurts to do as much homework as you can to get all the info. I'll probably wind up running N/A before the Blower-Install, just like you for a little while and I am wondering the same thing as you. I'm not ready for all the motor-work and heads to go on yet so I haven't bothered asking anyone about it. Exactly, a N/A cam is not going to be a "bad" part to have if you do get the blower down the road, it just will not make as much power as a "blower" cam would.Noble Steed said:Just a general note to answer the original question: Blower cams typically have lower overlap to reduce the unburnt fuel mixture being pushed out through the open exhaust valve by the pressurized intake charge.
