whats the difference performer and p.5.0

ok i have the chance to buy some eddys performer 5.0/5.8's my question is what is the difference between the performers and performer 5.0's, i know both are emissions legal and the performer rpm is not, so buy my understanding the rpms are rated from 1500 t0 6500 wouold 5.0s operate in the same range with the emissions provisions blocked off? if any one can shed some light on this mainly the difference between perf. and p 5.0's it would be appreciated.

I know this is an old ass post, but no one answered it and I happen to know the answer...

Edelbrock Performer heads have screw-in studs for stud-mount rockers. Performer 5.0 heads have pedestals for bolt-down rockers.
