He's just ahead of his time. I have been at this computer piss drunk before typing out perfectly articulate sentences. I honestly have no idea why people write like that these days. Go pull a thread from 15 years ago on Stangnet, and you didn't see this type of writing. I have friends that are mods on other forums, and they don't even allow it; instant delete. Forums are a global thing; we just had a member from Sweden asking how to do an intake swap. When English is your second language, being forced to navigate through a run on sentence like that is 10 times harder.

Kurt
In all fairness, when I'm piss drunk I read the posts here and they sound exactly like that guy's post.

OK, nice ofya.
I've hada '70 bronk for 39 yrs. Everything is available for it. Moderator/owner/admin asked I do the same for it when retired to my 20something da (swap in 4.1 ThriftPower, mani 5 speed, etc). 'Showed the way' for others. This 1? totally the opposite. Not out of my element but more Qs than "how to". Again, right kindly ofya...

A build thread is more about showing your progress, challenges specifically as it applies to your ride. Not necessarily what you can teach us or what we don't already know.

Many guys live vicariously through other guys builds. As much as I would like to have 2 or 3 builds on the go at any given time, it ain't happening anytime soon. Build threads as give us thoughts and ideas to add to our rides. Everyone has a different perspective on a build and a different way to do it.

Please share and I look forward to your take and ideas on an LTD wagon.

guess I showed up in the wrong spot ("...not what U can teach us...").
I'm ina 3 bay/2 lift shop a few days a wk and need a jump start. Last rest0mod I had yrs of research, parts connections, a rig with good aftr mrkt support. Here I'm seeking assistance. I got no "thoughts or ideas" to give anyone. I wondered Y I thought I saw "the build thread" as a lill ego centric. Many - da guy don't even want comments (besides 'strokes').

Saw this last year. It feels like it belongs in this thread.

Here’s the issue w/regard to whether or not you get meaningful support from people that can offer help. For whatever reason you choose to communicate in shorthand, some people find it rude that you cannot be bothered to use an entire word to post here. Arthritis and your stated learning disabilities aside, I sincerely doubt that you are saving yourself any additional grief by spelling “ town” twn, or any of the other shortcuts you insist on using. You are certainly not misspelling the word, ( which gets a limited time pass) And you can’t claim 20something-itis, as your avatar says you left that decade 50 years ago.

Your wagon is fox based. Everything on that car can be upgraded using Mustang junk from the late 70’s through the late 90’s. As one of the only members here who has a non-Mustang fox, it stands to reason that I would be a source of what does and doesn’t work. What can, and cannot be made to work, and everything else in between.

But do yourself a favor. The reason the “grammar police don’t come to the garage” is that they don’t have to read the words coming out of your mouth. And I’d just be willing to bet that when you do talk, the entire word comes out, and not the abbreviation. Talk like an adult. Give your reader the courtesy of an intelligent read.

The police have not found the address for his shop. They need a confidential informant to rat him out.

Also, do people put their real birthdays on the net? I’m asking out of curiosity since I’m apparently 120.

I thought a different head ( "the '94/8 single port") was mentioned to me. That could go on ina day as easy upgrade. Funds are short. Car is new to me. Means time to assess safety, condition, tinker a lill, research, plan and drive it. I will use it as a daily but it can be better looking (condition there is 2 or 3, like to have it at 3 or 4) and could use performance (MPGs, pep) upgrades. What is meant by the above 5 yrs head? On the 4.2 head some say "No, the 4.2 on there will not improve." others "Yes, it will." No tubular K, bent8, 5 lugs, etc for a long time. I would like the AOD, but right now I need some seals on the C5 (or is it C3?) to get it in'n out the garage, moved around so I can plow this winter. Good leak - looks (externally) like the pump's loosin it (more ways than 1). Will see in a wk or 2 when I geta break to get on the lift again~
