I agree... I don't think we'll see something like that until 2008 -- not needed in 2005/2006, the GT500 will take the stage in 2007, so in 2008 the Mustang might need an attention-getter...
My guesses:
GT350 - 335HP 4.6L 3V (intake, exhaust, cams), wheel/tire/susp pkg, interior, spoiler and stripes as on GT500.
Base price: $32,995 (today's dollars)
Mach 1 - 315HP 4.6L 3V (slight tweaking). Same basic formula as the 03-04 Mach1's, except I don't think they will go with the expense of certifying a new 4v motor. Shaker hood (of course), rear panel blackout, black spoiler, rocker stripes, different wheels. Base price: $28,495
But were they wrong with what they said the 05 was going to be? No they came in exactly where they said they would. I know it seems hard to swallow. But I think I would rather be an optimist than a pessimist.
