Hey guys, I was wondering if you guys could pin point my problem. When I'm braking, I can feel continous thumping in the pedals and the steering wheel shakes. It is alot worse when i brake at higher speeds. I was thinking either the brakes were warped or the steering rack and pinion need to be replaced. What do you guys think? There is also a squek in the front end when i turn left, even when im not braking.

If there is still enough material left on the rotor than you can have them resurfaced instead of replacing them. If it is a fox body than the min. thickness is .810". You will need a brake rotor micrometer to measure the thickness. If your only .10-.15" over minimun and they are warped badly, there most likely won't be enough material left to machine. :nice:

I recommend you to replace the front rotors and brake pads.. it's not actually good to resurface warped rotors....a lot of places wont ever do it if they are warped :flame:

Yeah, I'm definatley going to have them completley replaced. Does anyone know a ballpark figure of how much it is to replace the two front rotors and the pads? I'm hoping that its under $300
