The newer Taurus is a damned nice car, but the front suspension is absolute crap (won't make it 100k miles without a lot, if not all, of the front end parts replaced).
I'm paranoid about it myself. I don't see them often, but my mom has one of those cars too, and just hit 105k on it. If she could afford to replace the car I'd have her buying a Lexus, Toyota, Kia, or Hyundai right now.WHat have you seen for Water Pump failures on the 3.5L.
My front end is still pretty quiet, but the WP failures I'm seeing on the forums scare me and will probably get me to trade the car in once my certified warranty is up
From that angle it looks almost exactly like a CTS V. One of my co-workers has a white one.
Yeah, the front is pretty close. I always wanted a 2nd gen. CTS-V but couldn't decide on the less-practical coupe (I was already replacing a coupe) or the less-aggressive looking sedan. When the ATS-V came out it was the perfect blend...and just as fast as the prior-gen. CTS-V. Win/win! May be upgrading soon to an '18...

I heard/read a rumor today that the ATS may go coupe only in the next year or so. I am envisioning a turbo six Pony car.![]()
Aww, man. Well if so then I'd eventually step up to the CTS-V![]()

06 suburban. 210k and climbing!

Weather finally broke, so I have been driving my C7 as much as possible. Working from home now so no commuting.
