Did you look at the custom "My Color" chart?
2005 Mustang IP color-code Guide
It has some darker/grayer colors.
I did and I constantly consult that page and printed it out but it appears to be wrong.
For example
R=5, G=1, B=1 should equal red...I get orange. I can get red fine though if I select red.
R-1, G=1, B=1 should be black...I get white. I also get white anytime the three values are the same. I think it's the same shade for all 5 combinations where the RGB are the same. So I guess instead of 125 combinations we're really getting what 121?
The darker values that the chart shows like 212, 221, 122, 121, 112 etc don't look they do on that chart. For example take R=2 G=2 B=1...I think I get a very light pink rather than a maroon/brown.
Don't get me wrong I'm not so much complaining as I'm intrigued by how some of the colors aren't what I logically think they should be and curious as to whether there is a reason. I can't set my RGB values to get pure red when I'm selecting my own color...I get something shades of orangeish or pinkish if I do the mycolor values but I have a perfect red if I select red...I'm curious why. I haven't played with it enough yet but I'm also curious what RGB value gives me what they consider green...If I go R=1, G=5, B=1 I get a brighter lime color and if I increase the red values I get yellowish green and if I mess with the blue values I get bluish green.
(I think I have OCD...this thing intrigues me way more than it should).
Dumb favor...next time someone gets the chance can they set their mycolor to R=5, G=1, B=1 and confirm that they get orange not red.
