Im going with the Steeda Sport Springs for my 02 GT. I may as well get some new struts and shocks. WHats some good struts n shocks to go with? and where can I get em from?...lol i sound country..

I have Tokico HP all the way around and so far so good. The money is right on the set too.

Tokico 5 way adjustable here. No complaints so far love the ability to adjust them. Makes it fun on the street/strip and the corners.

IMO, Koni's are about as good as it gets, for the money though it is hard to beat the Tokico Illumina's which are a 5-position adjustable shock and strut. I purchased mine from MRT http://www.mustangracing.com along with my springs. David (who now is at http://www.partshopper.com ) gave me a fantastic deal on them along with the springs.

There are really a lot of good struts and shocks out there as most have been mentioned by other's who have replied to your post. I don't think getting a shock for performance driving that is not adjustable is a good thing so IMO, whatever brand you get just make sure they are adjustable.

Get Bilstein's and never replace them again. They self-adjust to all road conditions and last a lifetime. Bilstein's also include a lifetime warranty. They're expensive, but cheaper in the long run, and provide the most comfort I hear from any other aftermarket shocks/struts.

Bilstein, Tockico, and Koni's are some well-known names. As said above, Koni is about the best of the best, but quite expensive. If you want full adjustability, then Strange Engineering and QA1 are a couple of options to consider. They both make 10 way adjustable shocks and struts. Though I hear some people are having problems with the QA1 struts in terms of leaking and some people have vibration/noise issues with Strange Engineering.

Bilstien's are a good quality shock but how do they self adjust and what do they self adjust to? Also how can you dial in your cars handling (oversteer and understeer) if they do not have a means for adjustment? No flames here, I just want to know.

adjust it with the swaybars, panhard rod, and and ride height.

there are many more ways then just the shocks. and we can always throw caster and camber adjustments into the picture. judging by your sig, you should already know this though

You're right I do understand what adjusts what, I just wanted to know how a shock/strut was self adjusting and how you could tweek shocks/struts for under and oversteer if they do not have a means for a manual adjustment. As you know if you have adjustable shocks/struts you can fine tune the handling of your car with those adjustments.

you are correct sir. i personaly am a proponent of not having too many adjustable things at your finger tips. my personal reason being is that i would never leave well enough alone, and instead of enjoying what i have i would be constantly working on it. but again, thats just me. My bilsteins are on the way... so we know my vote
