I have the 5 spoke wheels that are standard on the deluxe option mustangs and I have never been thrilled with the color of them and was wondering if it would be possible and not that expensive to have the wheels changed to something to like a polished aluminum color or would it be to expensive and to much work to be worth it? Where could I get something like this done?

You should still be able to find these on ebay or other sites. There were two versions of the stock 99-00 wheels that came polished. The 35th "Limited" came with charcoal painted inserts and the 00' Spring Feature that had silver painted inserts.

Here is the 99' "Limited" wheel.

While I like my deluxe edition wheels, those '99 "limited" polished aluminum ones are quite sharp. Never have seen the Spring feature ones though...

I don't think you can.....the center caps on those rims are plastic. I would guess you could powdercoat the wheel and then find a matching paint to have a body shop paint the center caps????

You could paint the rims easily yourself.

I know a lot of guys paint their 91-93 pony 5-star rims on Foxes. It's rather simple really, just clean the wheel very well with a solvent and paint and clear them.

The hard part is the plastic center cap, but it can be done.
