wheel fitment option?

I'm trying to find out if there are any cost effective ways to fit a 06' GT wheel on my 96' GT. Only thing I can see different is the centerbore, which obviously means it won't work I know. Does anyone know of a way to do this ? Maybe a different rotor perhaps. I'm not to familiar with wheel adapters, but it seems that just a ring that slips over the hub would work, I'm probably crazy, and sorry if this is posted somewhere else, I've searched but there are so many threads it gets confusing...

Thanks for the reply. They do slip right on but I was worried about the centerbore. I just found some info that confirmed my ring idea:

Wheel Hub Centric Rings are designed to fill in the gap between the hub of the car and the center bore of the wheel. Most wheel manufacturers design their wheels with a centerbore large enough to fit on most cars. Therefore, since wheel manufactures make their center bore large enough to fit most cars, most wheel fitments have a gap between the hub and the centerbore. This gap usually doesn't allow for the wheel to fit hubcentric but rather lugcentric which causes vibration. Therefore, to fill the gap and ensure the fitment is hubcentric, hub rings are used.

That'll work I think... Great news because this means I'll have some nice TSW 18's from my neighbour for the price of some lawn work, hopefully..

I believe the center bore on both cars would be 70.6mm. You shouldn't need any rings.

If you're swapping ford oem wheel then shouldn't need a ring. If you are going to use an aftermarket wheel, then yes, unless you luck out and it happens to have the same center-bore.

The bolt circle is the same but backspacing is different so yeah, without some sort of spacer, the S197 wheels will sit too far inboard and will look weird (and possibly interfere?).

The S197 tire sizes are also a little taller overall than Fox & SN95 tire sizes so your speedo will be a little off and it will slightly raise the car, although they should fill the ginormous SN95 wheel wells a little better.

If you do it, post some pics - I'd like to see how it turns out.

deff post pics. TSW makes a nice wheel. I like mine alot. I would buy them all over again if the time comes.

now, if you do get spacers to kick out the wheels a little, get hub centric, and I think anything more than 3/8 or so, you should use the ones that bolt onto the hub and use their own lugs to bolt on the wheels.
