I'm looking for a set of wheels and I did a five lug conversion on a 93 gt. I borrowed a 17x9 bullit wheel with 24mm offset and the wheel sticks out of the fender about 1/2. do I need more or less offset to bring the wheel inside the fender more? There is 3/4 of an inch on the inside between the strut and the wheel so I should be able to move it in at least that much.

thanks:bang: :bang: :bang:

To move the wheel in you need more backspace--a higher number positive offset.

The OEM Ford Bullits are 17 X 8, not 9 (9" aftermarket Bullitts usually have a backspace of 5.95" while the 8" has a backspace of around 5.44".

If the problem is on the front, sounds like you need an 8" for the front, but a 9" out back should work.
