Hey guys whats up. been a while since i posted here. Just purchased my newest stang, a 2001 v-6 auto. I know its auto but i'll get a shift kit and a trans cooler and such down the road. It's performance red. I love the color because its an orange when the sun hits it. I was wondering if anyone had any pics of the 99-04's with black or gunmetal wheels? I was looking into some fr500's but i may go with some black chrome saleens. Idk though. Can someone help? I'm also looking for an aftermarket hood and want some input. Thanks guys.


Oh, and by the way, I'm only doing cosmetic stuff besides exhuast until the car is paid off, which is about 8 months down the road. I will post pics of my new toy soon, thanks.

Try discounttire.com and trierack.com, if you dont know you can see virtual pics of your car with different wheels on it that you can buy from the company. Its not perfect, but it gives you a good idea at least.

i like the black fr500s over the saleens just because i love the silver lip on black rims. i like the black saleens too but all black wheels just doesnt do it for me

oh hell no! lol, you cant have the cobra r hood its mine! naw...in my own opinion, u cant get sweeter then a cobra r, but do NOT buy from mikesprostreet.com , i ordered one bout 2 months ago and STILL do not have it, nor will he ever give me any updates on it

that looks awesome! I'm really thinking I'm gonna get the black saleens but i cant find them for sale anywhere, i lost the page i had. Thanks for the opinions guys. I'll get some fresh pics tomorrow, i just got her out of my garage today. Hey mustangmat, how do you like your procharger? thats my first thing to get when the car is paid for. Does the engine hold 11 psi pretty well?

They have a boatload of black saleens(well, knock offs) on ebay.

I have a friend who is selling his GT with chrome Cobra R wheels on it, so he sold me the Bullitt wheels for a good price. I think they look awesome with a black car like mine.

Bullet’s look fantastic, when they came out I wanted a set, but after seeing how popular they have become, how everybody and their mom has them, I decided to move away from them to a wheel that has a better offset for an IRS equipped mustang... thus I picked the 10th Anniversary

I really like 20" chrome wheels with spinners myself, but get whatever you want, it's your car
