I have these wheels in 17x8 inch size.
TireRack.com has the 18x9 inch size on close out. I'm debating whether I should pick up a pair of the 18's and run those on the back with wider tires. The problem I'm trying to deal with is traction. I just got my car back from a dyno tune, and now I have significant traction issues (yes
).
Anyway, I want some opinions on running 17's in the front and 18's in the rear. I would go with a wider tire (at least 275, but probably 295 or more). Do you think that will look stupid or create issues? How wide do you think I can go on a 9 inch wheel? Hell, maybe I should just get 4 new 18 inch wheels . . .
[Edit] Oh BTW, I'm running 255/45/17's all around right now.
