Winter is moving in fast here in Sweden. I found a set of winter tires for my '94 GT ,they are 17 inch factory alu .
(3Z1007C ) . When I went to mount them the would not sit flush with the hubs. The center/hub of the wheel is cone shaped. Now looking at the hubs pictures I see that '05 -14 is not the same as the '94 -'98. Comparing the pictures from American Muscle's site. But the '05-'14 aren't tapered/cone shaped either. from Americanmuscle ite I read this too "SN95 Mustangs (1994-2004) can use 2005-2014 wheels; they will be tucked inside the wheel well and require a spacer"
Have been thinking about spacers already, as that the summer tires sit kind of tucked in too. The ones that I can get here in Sweden that are hub-centric are 20mm. this would also compensate for the difference in the ET of the newer model wheel .But again these are not tapered/cone shaped.
What am I missing here ?
(sorry for the text size change don't know what button to use to make the text all the same size)
