I'm getting a set of replica 03 cobra's off of ebay... the fronts are 18x9 but they're paired with 18x10.5 wheels for the rears... is that gonna be too big? Will the 17" oem SVT center caps fit on an 18" application?

Second... what tire brands and sizes would you guys recommend to match up? I'm thinking of the Nitto-555R's... but at ~215$/ea... seems a bit pricey. I'm no weekend warrior, so if there is anything else out there that performs well and is affordable... I'm open-minded.

Thanks guys

id go 265/35's up front and either 295/35, or 315/30's out back
as far as i know the stock center caps will fit.

I just bought a set of those.I bought the kumho Mx tires, go with 265/35 and 295/35. Tire rack has the best prices. The fronts were $370 shipped! How much are these wheels going for on ebay?

Currently im at $510 +$80 shipping so $590 to my door... another couple hours on the auction.

Theres another set up for $695 buy now price... 9 days left on the auction. But if i don't get this set for some reason I'm just gonna put down the $700 for the 'buy now' ones.

Thanks for the input by the way. so far it looks like I'll be getting 265's and 295's... but will I need to recalibrate my speedo? And will I need to buy a chip to do so?

If you are buying from AFS's Ebay store, you can dodge the shipping by just going to their store in Canoga Park. I did when i got my '03 18x9's. Got them for $415+tax.

How did you go about doing that? Did you pay for it via paypal and then go in and pick up the wheels after they sent you a confirmation?

After winning the auction i called and paid for it by credit card. You could just call them as ask if you can come by, pick them up and pay at the same time tho

See problem with that is it says specifically no phone orders and that they are a strictly internet-based company:

"Forms of payment - We only accept Paypal for payment and will ship to a confirmed street address. I'm sorry but we do not accept foreign Paypal accounts. Immediate payment is due on all Buy-it-now items. We are an Internet company and all payment must be made through our automated payment link. In order to continue to offer excellent products at a bargain price, we have automated much of our system and we must politely adhere to these terms and conditions

Auction Purchase - This item is being offered for sale at a discounted price and is only available through eBay auctions. No phone calls or phone sales can be accepted for this product. This product is being sold as-is with no warranty. All sales are final. Any blemishes would be of a cosmetic nature only and would not affect the safety or performance of the item. It is up to you to determine that the product you bid on is what you want and/or will fit your application"

How long ago did you get your rims?

And hey... could you post a pic or two for me, or link me or something? Your car looks good as your avatar I'd like to see the whole thing...

despite what their auction states, i called them and said "hey, i live in calabasas, and it would be ridiculous to ship it for $75 to go 5 miles. They are really nice over there and i'm sure if you say you live real close they will let you pick them up. I got them soon after last christmas.
pics some are newer than others... keep in mind i'm getting a front coilover kit to lower the front another .5"

good luck

I run the same wheels with 275/35/18's up front and 295/35/18's out back. All tires are different, so once you decide exactly what tires you are getting, you can ask around and find out if any of them have any rubbing issues....I personally run the Toyo T1-S's, and I love em'......

I lived like 4o miles from them but I called them and they gaveme a hassle. Then I told them Ilive like 1 miles from them and couldnt justify paying for shipping and they saud come on it. I have bought from them in the past and would do again.
