wow...what a difference. my tiny 245 tires actually look decent back there (next set with be 275 in the back). well they were only $75 on ebay i think they were very nice. they were the spacers with the bolts built in. here are some before and afters for you guys that have stupid smaller tires (got they hook for crap) on the back and want to fill out the wheel well. it makes it look a lil tougher and makes the back actually look bigger. they are 1.25" spacers btw

before front

after front

back before

back after

its nuts...i keep goin out there and lookin from under the car like some pics from "lets see that azz" thread. i mean, some of you have massive tires on the back but now with these spacers, the tiny tires i have actually look a little bit bigger. my buddy asked if i got bigger tires after i asked him what he thought was different. pretty cool for $75

I ran 1/4" spacers on mine before my 315's and they helped, but that looks much better than mine did. Very nice!

I got my H&R 1 3/8 inch spacers a couple weeks back and love them. Unless you look at the actual width of the tire it makes them look like they're huge!
One of the best appearance mods and a MUST for those of us with 245s.

Im going to be putting 275s out back soon so it should look even better.

i put inch spacers on the back and it makes my 275's look a lot bigger and i did 2 burnouts with them on last week with no problems but if i go to the track i'll take them off just to be safe.

ive read somewhere (think it was corral) of guys putting down some bigger numbers (mid-upper 300's) and using wheel spacers. i wouldnt see them putting THAT much more stress on them but just a little bit. im probably gonna be takin them off for the track too cause ill be using DR's...just to be safe

MM has two kinds of spacers, but which one's are better. I'd like the 1 to 1 1/4 inch spacer, but want to make sure I get the best and safest kind. What do you torque the spacer at when attaching to the hub?

Obviously this is something anyone can do at home, so I am now convinced this is something I want, especially considering that mine is a daily driver and will never see the strip/road course.

mine are 1.25". they took me about 30 min before work (made me late for work ) to put on. you need to get the ones that are made from billet steel (think thats what it is called) and also the ones that have 5 holes in them and 5 studs sticking out too. they are considered the safest of the wheel spacers from what ive read. i cant wait to see what the look like when the 275 555r's are on after my tranny gets fixed
