So.. I have a set of 17 x 9 and 17 x 10.5 Black Bullitts on order

Anyways, I'm not familiar with tires and sizing/pricing/anything, soo...

What sizes do I need for these two types of wheels?
What brands should I go for?
What prices am I looking at?
Where can I get said tires?

Now.. these tires basically need to stay on year-round and I live in Virginia with some bad winters and some not so bad winters. I don't need anything too fancy, just something to get the job done (keeping me on the road).

Thanks in advance

I Have the same wheels! I use 255/45/17 in the front with 285/40/17 in the back. They will fit the 315's if you can spring for them. Nice looking too either way. The cost difference between the 285's and the 315's I think is a lot. I may go wider the next time though.

I went with Kuhmo Ecsta Supra 712's front and back. Paid $475 for all four from TireRack. I really like them, but time will tell.

If I were you and you were worried about the winter, keep your stockers and use them in the winter with some all seasons or snows. The wider widths will suck in the snow. I live in PA, but have a another car and a Suburban to drive also. So the Mustang just gets parked in the garage.

BTW, I agree 100% with White Stang. I think that is the best setup for those rims depending on your needs. I wanted a tire good for the rain and safe for wife and kids.
