Read in MM+FF you won't be able to get the 18s from the start. That sucks.

Well...

I think ALL the wheels offered for the 2005 GT suck! I am not impressed with either wheel design at all. Neither does anything to complement the car!

What the heck, Ford can't come up with any better wheel styles than that for a completely redesigned car, and a retro design to boot?!?

I'll be buying aftermarket wheels of some type to put on a 2005 GT if/when I get one.

Anybody else but me hate the wheel styles offered on the 2005?

I'm with you, I think the wheels look Fisher Price to me. I'd love to see a set of 18-inch Steeda Ultra lites on one though. I smell a photochop project coming on.....

A set of ROHs would look killer. Saw some today at AutoTrends. Maybe a blessing in disguise.

I am not worried, I would either be putting some 18" Halibrand III's or Edelbrock 454's on it anyway.

Personally, I like the 17's myself.

Just looked it up. The 18's on the mustang are the same size as the front wheels on the Ford GT. If the offset is the same...

Who knows what will happen between now and production. They might come up with different wheels, for all we know. Personally, I'm holding on to my 18" OZ wheels...

If it came with cool wheels then it would be no fun to put on aftermarket wheels. In a little over a year there will be 1/4 million 05 Mustangs on the road. What fun would it be if we all had the same cool wheels?

I'm hoping for some more wheel options too. Does anybody know if the '99-'04 wheels will fit on the '05? I'm thinking about chrome Bullitts for the '05.

I'd get some Bullitt clones in either 17" or 18" for the new Stang; 9" wide up front and 10.5 in back.

I'd Change mine to...

-Grey Edelbrock 454's (BTW, can anyone post a link to these wheels?)
or
-Halibrand III's (A link to these too, if you can.)
or
-Grey FR500's
