Hey guys...I am trying to find the wheels that are on the Blue 05 Stang in the BF Goodrich add.

Are these 18" or 19" rims...and are these Ford rims? I can't tell if they are the same as the optional 17" rims...but bigger.

Finally...where is a good place online to check out wheels?

Those are 20" rims, according to a fuller-size pic of the same ad, and it's doubtful those are Ford rims. I don't think the rims actually exist, since it appears to be an artist's rendition, although they look cool enough that someone will probably cast a copy.

17" will probably be big enough for me, since tires get VERY expensive past 17".

I dont think that is an artist's rendition... It would be easier to just photograph the car with rims and add effects afterwards. Those rims look real enough to exist but I am pretty sure they arent Ford for sure. They may have been one time cuts... Too many rims in existence for me to remember seeing who made those ones. Look nice though... Maybe someone else knows...

They look very much like ASA ST4's to me. Dont look like 20's though.

I think the 05 looks amazing with those 20's on it (in the BFG ad). The other Mustangs looked retarded with much bigger than 18".

I wonder how much they weigh? While they look great, I wouldn't want to bolt some heavy ass wheels to that car. Lightweight forged 20's = $$$$$$$$$

THE WHEELS FROM PRE '05 STANGS WILL BOLT ON TO THE CAR AS THE BOLT PATTERN REMAINS 5X4.5", HOWEVER THE FACTORY WHEELS ON THE '05 HAVE A MUCH HIGHER OFFSET(MORE BACKSPACING). SO.... IF YOU WERE TO SLAP SAY, A SET OF 18X9.5" '00 COBRA R WHEELS ON, THEY WOULD LIKELY STICK OUT OF THE FENDERWELLS BY A FEW CENTIMETERS. THE FACTORY '05 WHEELS DO FIT "WEAK" ON THE CAR, MEANING THEY TUCK WAY INSIDE THE FENDERWELLS (A LITTLE MORE THAN AN INCH). A NARROWER SN95 WHEEL, SUCH AS A BULLITT WHEEL WOULD LIKELY SIT FLUSH WITH THE FENDERWELL ON THE '05. I'M SURE WE'LL SEE GUYS INTERCHANGING ALL SORTS OF SN-95 WHEELS ON THE S197, SO WE'LL SEE WHAT WORKS AND WHAT DOESN'T AFTER SOME EXPERIMENTATION.

05 Wheel Offset

Anyone know about the offsets? What would be a good width for the front? What would be a good width for the rear? Should the front wheel have a different offset than the rear? I am planning on 20" wheels. Once I find out the size of the wheels....then.... what about the tire sizes?

Rims are going to be REALLY expensive for this stang. I thought the SN95 rims would not fit on this 05 stang due specifically to their bolt patter. This car is really going to need 18's MINIMUM. Those 17's look like crap with that HUGE sidewall. It looks like you have ET streets on there. I think 20's are like 18's on the SN95 stangs. They look perfect...

The bolt patterns are the same, but SN95 wheels will pop out of the wheel wells on the 05.
