Ok so the wet weather has claimed a wheel off my prized pony so my question is this; Is there any real draw backs to having mis-matched wheels (stock front and something wider rear)?

besides having different wheels front and back, only the fact that you cant rotate them if you have wider on the rear.

So would it just be easier to get wider rubber and replace my one bad wheel with a stock replacement?

If you had wider ones on the back you could still rotate...people would think you had a fwd Stang drag car though...lol.

I forget who and what post it was in, but it was stated that Ford OEM Bullitts have a slightly different shape to the spokes compared to aftermarket Bullitts.

yep, the aftermarket bullits have the pre-05 shape, which is more angular than the 05+ bullits. the 05+ have more of a flat spoke compared to the previous years. i believe its for caliper clearance, and that is why some aftermarket S197 bullits need spacers in the front.
