I think I paid $250 for mine about 8 months ago. It took me 3 months to find one at a decent price. It's the American made Ford Racing one but it was powdered coated white and looked like crap so it took some work to make it look good.

I also managed to find the OEM NOS PCV molded hoses and new plaque for it.

I just really like the way the Cobra intake looks and the fact it doesn't require a EGR spacer.

The one on my car was one of the first mods I ever did. I remember paying $399 for it from summit racing circa 2000.

Always loved the look of them. I'll probably repaint mine in a gunmetal look when I refinish it

I was thinking the exact same thing, today. I'm seeing them (and true GT40s) listed around me for ~$650. I remember buying one used for $250 long ago. Sold a GT40 intake for $400 about a decade ago used. Never really imagined they'd go up like this, though. Explorer intakes looking more attractive every day.

I kinda wanna get back to a simple setup. I really enjoyed owning that GT40 combo car last year, but I just couldn't bring it with me to this duty-station.

it's ok since then a man with a red tow truck intermittently leaves random small hard to find parts on the hood of my car that I just happen to need.

Who is this anonymous parts gift-er
Where does he hail from
Why does he have so much fox junk
How does he know me
o_O

I have instructed the family not to shoot this individual as long as he leaves parts.:D

This one is fake news.

He’s a local guy who uses 3 and 4 names and accounts to buy parts, low balls, gives sob stories and anything he can then lists everything super high. He’s been caught bidding on his own stuff to up the prices. Doing a deal with him once he showed me a box of 50+ maf ecu’s that he sells on eBay for like 500.... I can tell tons of stories... my favorite is him buying a used ram air hood and listing it Local for 100 above cirvinis and saying he’s a dealer, needless to say it’s been for sale for years.

That said, once I pull my polished one
I plan to list it for $500.
