My tubular intake is worth that much? I have the lightning version. Still worth that?

Upper and lower? It's probably more. The aluminum gt40 351 lower sells for around ~$500 just by itself. Upper and lower in decent shape might be $800-900

There is a cast iron version uses on the 351 marine engines. Once in a while a seller tosses that in eBay as a lightning lower. There's also a marine tubular and cast upper

Apparently my ex-husband made that mistake.

I agree 100%. I actually think the explorer intake looks great. Toss a refinished 5.0 HO plate on top and it's an OEM looking manifold with some good potential.

port the lower, 75mm TB and it's an intake that could power a lot of healthy street cruiser combos....and cheap.

I still like my 93 Cobra intake though and won't trade it out

For that kind of money you could have an Explorer Intake with the works from Tmoss, including a recoate so it looks new.

First place I've always found coolant leakage was that rubber hose connection at the EGR spacer! imp

I remember the 70's and flipping the air cleaner lid as a mod!
Oh, don't tell @a91what that the factory used to put carburetors on cars, it could traumatized him.

I've been assured by the experts on Facebook that a carb is the secret to getting power out of a 5.0.

I remember when everyone was trading in their GT40 intake for a Cobra, because you could get the Cobra extrude honed. That's back when it didn't cost a mortgage payment to get something extrude honed though.
